Who I Serve

I work with adults, teens, families, and couples.  I work best with people who are seeking knowledge and are motivated to work hard for the life they want.

Do You Need Therapy?

Our society perpetuates the message that therapy is only for the severely mentally ill. But most of us were not taught how to navigate our emotional lives. Therapy is for anyone, whether you're really struggling or you just want to improve your self-awareness and optimize your emotional health.

How Long Will You Need Therapy?

How long you're in therapy completely depends on what you need. Some of my clients continue to benefit from the depth of work that comes with a long-term experience. Others prefer to stick with a few very specific goals and terminate as soon as they've met those goals. Your insurance company will have limits on what they will cover, but you can come as long as you and I continue to feel that our time together is productive.

Your First Appointment

First appointments are usually information heavy.  I will try to get to know you and where you are at in your journey in just 60 minutes.  We will go over the intake paperwork that you have filled out for me ahead of time and I will ask clarifying questions to get more in-depth information.  After gathering information, I will make treatment recommendations and help you identify goals for your time with me.

The Process

After the first appointment, we will agree on a schedule for us to meet; either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.  We will work on skills to help you on your  journey towards recovery, implement skills outside of session, and evaluate the results.  Therapy is an art, and not every skill works for everyone.  It takes a bit of work outside of session, and I will challenge you to meet mini-goals in-between sessions to report back to me.  There will be occasional check-ins to see how much progress has been made towards your goals, and then be able to prepare you for eventually setting out on your own without therapy.

Fees & Insurance

Payments are made before the session. Accepted forms of payment are cash, check, and credit.  Many insurance companies cover a substantial portion of the fee.

My fees are as follows:

60-Minute Individual Adult: $80
60-Minute Family/Couple- $100

Currently Accepting Insurance:

  • First Choice

  • Kaiser Permanente

  • Premera

Intake Paperwork

Please complete all paperwork prior to your first session. The "child" forms are for clients under 18 years of age. The disclosure form is required for both adult and child clients.

The Office

Due to the pandemic, I currently am “homeless” and don’t have an office and offer telehealth services in the interim. Will reassess Spring 2022.

Crisis Calls

When you are assessed for being at-risk, we will develop a crisis plan towards the beginning of your time with me.  If you are experiencing a crisis, please refer to your crisis plan.  Call the Crisis Line at: 800-576-7764 or 911 if you do not feel safe and is life-threatening.  You may call me for a status update and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
